The phone is being recognised as Huawei Expo and Huawei SnapTo, though the latter is being used for the purpose of promotion when listed online. The company hasn't confirmed yet that which name will be used for the smartphone at the time of its launch.

The handset is priced at USD 180 approximately and is listed on Amazon's US website which states that the phone, which will come in two colour variants, Black and White, will be launched on Thursday.

 

The Huawei SnapTo smartphone features 5-inch HD TFT LCD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution display and it will be fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

 

 

The device runs on Android 4.4-KitKat. On the connectivity front, the Huawei SnapTo gets 8GB of inbuilt storage capacity which is expandable through microSD card.

The Huawei SnapTo/Expo sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear surface and a 2-megapixel camera on the front for selfie enthusiasts. Fueling the smartphone's operations is a 2200mAh battery for long lasting usage. The Huawei SnapTo supports AT&T and T-Mobile LTE bands.

 

It is being speculated that Huawei's Expo smartphone (aka Huawei SnapTo) is a competitor to Motorola's hotly anticipated Moto G (Gen 2) priced at Rs 12,999 for the 16GB model which indicates that the company is planning to take on Moto G.
