After releasing the 4.7 inch Android smartphone ‘Ascend P6’ in last June, the company is set to launch its successor that is dubbed to be its enhanced edition actually.

Ascend P6 with its fascinating features was a success for Huawei. It sports a 1.5 GHz quad core processor. It is one of the slimmest devices to be released in the market that offers well balanced features in a thin 6.2 mm profile. It is even slimmer than the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

Huawei president Xu Xin Quan has reportedly said that the upcoming device which is dubbed as ‘Ascend P6S’ will be using a true octa core processor, that means all cores can be used at once. Moreover, it is also going to be optimized to have a longer battery life.

It has been reported that Huawei will be using an updated version of their own K3V2 chipset which will make use of quad core computing.
Apart from the processor of the Ascend P6S, no other details have been revealed as of the moment. We can expect that the company will soon unveil the prices and availability of its new launch.
