Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express, Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Premium Special, Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express, Bhubaneswar Junagarh Express, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Express, Visakhapatnam-Guntur Express and Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Express are some of the trains which have been canceled as a precautionary measure, said a senior Railway Ministry official.
East Coast Railway has made elaborate arrangements to meet the situation that could arise out of the cyclonic storm and heavy rains in the region.
While steps have been taken for early restoration of train services and railway track, if affected by Hudhud, a round-the-clock disaster management cell has been set up at its headquarters in Bhubaneswar and at Divisional Headquarters at Visakhapatnam, Khurda Road and Sambalpur.

Over a lakh of people from low-lying areas of coastal districts in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha have been evacuated after the state intensified preparations to face Cyclone Hudhud, which is expected to reach the northern coastline around Visakhapatnam by forenoon on Sunday.
