He made this statement during a meeting with noted architect Hafeez Contractor on the new constructions to be taken up in the capital city, a release from Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said here.
Rao suggested that a convention centre of global standards, to be named 'Telangana Kala Bharati', be built opposite Indira Park in the heart of the city, the release said.
He favoured improving the structures and areas around tourist attractions like Charminar, Hussain Sagar lake, Salar Jung museum, among others, it said.
The Chief Minister wanted plans to be prepared for beautification of Musi river here and developing the famous Salar Jung museum at par with international standards.     

Meanwhile, Rao on Thursday laid foundation stone for grand Banjara Bhavan and Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan to be built in Banjara Hills area of the city.
