In the domestic market, Hyundai sold 29,260 units last month as compared to 25,965 units in July 2013, an increase of 12.69 percent.

During the month, Hyundai's exports declined 17.54 percent to 18,750 units as against 22,739 units in the same month last year.

HMIL Senior Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Rakesh Srivastava said Hyundai has 13.3 per cent cumulative growth with high market share of 23 per cent in passenger cars.

"The demand pull created by the successful product launches and strong channel spread has brought down the discounts and the green shoots of growth are visible with the stabilization of macro-economic factors and near to average monsoons," he added.
