According to reports, the updated Verna will be upgraded with mechanical enhancements and will look similar to the Russian version  Solaris, a mid-sized sedan.

The new model features a completely refurbished front with aggressive looking lines and detailed styling. Larger headlamps with revamped fog lamps and new front fascia with new grille will be seen on the exterior of the car.

Diamond-cut alloy wheels and redesigned bumper will give a bolder and defined look to the car. Albeit changes on the interior will not be much visible except the facelifted model will get new upholstery for seats, new infotainment system and some other additional features.

The sedan is fixed with the current generation petrol and diesel engines, it will continue to feature the existing petrol (1.4-litre & 1.6-litre) and diesel (1.4-litre petrol & 1.6-litre diesel) powertrains.

The updated Verna was modified keeping in mind the suspension system to help the vehicle handle uneven roads even better. The vehicle might also get slightly tuned steering wheel for better feedback.
