Jha also said that he drew inspiration for the film from the mass protests around the world.

According to reports, Anna's camp members said the film has resemblances to Anna's movement against corruption and they have also pointed out resemblance between real people and the characters in the political thriller.

"Anna Hazare's movement mobilized common people. In my film, the movement and its logic are completely different. I'm not trying to be judgmental about Anna Hazare's movement, and I don't want anyone to be judgmental about my film," Jha said in a statement.

"Any suspicion linking with Hazare's movement is uncalled for. But there is nothing I can do about that," he added.

The film, set to hit the screens Aug 30, features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.
