"I do not expect the Opposition to create any furor over Telangana during the Monsoon Session of Parliament," Singh said.
According to Singh, the issue of Telangana has been settled once and for all. The issue of the formation of more states would be dealt separately on the basis of the situation prevailing in those places.
"Well the demand for formation of new states has to be dealt separately because of the difference in the geographical and socio-economic status and other issues (in regions seeking statehood)," Singh had told reporters on Wednesday.
There has been clamour for creation of states like Gorkhaland, Bundelkhand and Vidarbha among others, after the Centre gave its nod to create Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh.
