Media was abuzz with the reports that the 'Heropanti' star had been signed on to star in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film, which was earlier offered to other prominent actresses in the industry.
"Even I read about me doing 'Sultan' in newspapers... I don't really know where it comes from and who gets to know all this. They don't even confirm or check before they write. I would love to do it but I have not been approached so far," Kriti said.

The 25-year-old actress will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's upcoming project 'Dilwale', which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan.
Asked why it took her a while to sign her second Bollywood project, Kriti said, "I always knew that it takes time for your second film to happen. I didn't want to sign anything in hurry. In most of the actor's career there has always been a little gap between first and the second film."
Though the Delhi girl was not seen in Bollywood, she cut her teeth in Southern film industry. She did a Telugu film 'Dochay' that she shot during the gap.
