Los Angeles: Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan admits she has made some bad decisions in the past and doesn't need any more "negative stuff" in her life.

The 25-year-old, who has had regular run-ins with the law and a series of stints in jail and rehab, said she wants to put her bad times behind her.

"I regret the choices that I've made, but I'm grateful for where I am today because of them. I don't need to see any more negative stuff; I don't need to put myself in those places anymore.

"It's been a learning experience and I'm glad that I experienced it. I'm grateful that I've learned from it. It's helped me, it's humbling," Lohan said.

The actress is currently carrying out court-ordered community service stemming from a 2011 probation violation conviction.
