The nine-year-old performer along with partner Vaishnavi could not make it to the show's finale, which will be held next week, despite their high-octane performances and scoring full marks maximum number of times. "I am happy that I made a lasting impression on audience's minds and won their hearts too. Now, it is the time to get back to my studies," Akshat said.

Akshat said he is glad that he got an opportunity to meet his favourite actor Salman Khan through the reality show. "Why should I cry over my elimination? Accha hai tension gaya. I was working very hard, did my best and I came this far. That was the best thing for me! For me, Jhalak was a platform to not only dance, but to meet Salman Khan. How else would I have met him?" he said in an interview.

Akshat is now planning to settle down in Mumbai to pursue his Bollywood dreams as well as complete his studies. "I am not going back to my hometown Kolkata. I will join a school here. My parents are already looking for accommodation on rent and we will settle here along with my grandmother," he reveals.

Ask him if he is happy about shifting to Mumbai and he says, "I want to become an actor. I am getting good offers to participate in dance shows. So, with studies, I can pursue that as a career. I am very lucky that the show gave me the opportunity to meet with Salman and also dance with him. He even praised me for my performance. I wish that I get a chance to work with him in a film as he often works with children in his movies."

In the face-off, Akshat was pitted against professional dancer Shakti Mohan. "Shakti di is a good performer. In the face-off also, I gave my best performance. I feel good that during my stay on the show, I bagged maximum full marks, dancing shoes and winner of dance marathon. All these achievements make me feel that I am a winner of the show," said the adorable kid.

The Colors show is now gearing up for its grand finale, where four contestants including Shakti, Mouni Roy, Karan Tacker and Ashish Sharma will be competing for the 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' trophy. They will be judged by Madhuri Dixit, Remo D'Souza and Karan Johar.
