Irshad, 43, who has penned lyrics of successful albums like 'Rockstar', 'Jab We Met' and 'Aashiqui 2', among others, feels romance is out of the lives of today's youngsters.
"Romance has gone away from the life of the youth. It has become mechanic... You never know when suddenly all the files will get erased. That real romance is missing.  My book brings back the goodness of love combined with the realities surrounding it. We think romance is very pink but the reality make its black and that's what I've described in the book," Irshad said.
The poet's good friends from Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali released his collection.

Irshad, who is a regular in Imtiaz's films, starting from his debut 'Socha Na Tha', 'Rockstar', to the upcoming 'Tamasha', said though the director is his close friend, the duo has creative fights while making any movie.
