From this year, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has brought some remarkable changes in its evaluation system by introducing several examination processes online. According to the Council, this will make the evaluation and examination procedures more transparent, accurate and time saving. In such a scenario, the results are expected to come much before than it was released in 2013.  The results were declared on May 17 last year.

The results will be available on the official website of CISCE. All you need to do is log on to or and fill your Index numbers followed by roll numbers or registration numbers in the related fields to get access to your complete mark-list.

The council is expected to announce SMS service also for the students to get results on mobile phones.
Lakhs of students had appeared for the ICSE examinations, conducted between March 3 and March 29 this year.

The CISCE Board conducts two examinations in India and abroad- Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) for class 10th and class 12th respectively.

Last year, the pass percentage of ICSE was 98.20 percent. In India, the Southern region had the best performance with 99.66 percent of students clearing the exam in 2013. It was followed by the Western region (99.46 percent), Eastern region (98.02 percent) and Northern region (97.30 percent). The pass percentage of ICSE was 100 percent abroad.
