Rourkela: The International Council for Youth and Students (ICYS) successfully organized two-day seminar ‘2013 Incentives to the Globe’ at NIT auditorium on 11st and 12nd January.

The ICYS aims at the overall development of students and youths at the national and international level. The topics of the seminar were ‘The Influence of Politics on Economy’ and ‘Which is the Most Corrupt? Media or Politician’.

In an inaugural speech, ICYS convener Rajkumar Yadav welcomed the guests and audiences. Yadav said, “The ICYS welcomes you on the revered land of glorious state Odisha.”  Since its inception on August 6, 2012, the ICYS has been working for the development of youths and students added Rajkumar Yadav.

Chief guest of the seminar and Jharkhand Against Corruption chairman Durga Oraon Munda inaugurated the event. Addressing the seminar, Durga Munda said, “Several corrupt leaders in Jharkhand will be behind the bars in the days to come.”

SP, VIP security, Arunchal Pradesh, Tumme Ammo elaborated the interesting topics in details. Ammo said, “Both the media and the politician are the inherent parts of democracy. No nation could develop unless and until it has strong media and honest politicians.”

On this occasion, NIT Rourkela Director, Sunil Kumar Sarangi said, “ICYS has done a commendable job by organizing international seminar in Odisha.”
