Pune: Two second-half goals helped Air India beat Palian Arrows 2-0 for their third consecutive win in the 11th round I-League clash at the Balewadi Sports Complex on Friday.

After a goalless first half, Sandesh Gadkari made it 1-0 in favour of the airmen in the 65th minute.

Henry Ezeh then doubled the lead for the hosts in the 73rd minute.

Air India had defeated table topper's Dempo and Sporting Clube de Goa in their two previous games in Goa.

Following the win, Air India have 19 points from 11 matches, while the visitors, who are still searching for their first win, have just six points from as many matches.
