Margao: Salgaocar will be looking to collect full points as they take on Pune FC on Thursday in the ninth round of I-League, played at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda here.

Defending Champions Salgaocar indifferent performance so far in the league has placed them in the tenth position with two wins, three draws and three defeats.

But coach Karim Bencharifa is unfazed and is hopeful that his team will put up a collective performance to collect full points from tomorrows match.

The team has done well in the local league recently occupying the top position. He is looking to carry forward the success on Thursday.

"We have the full squad at our disposal after the return of goalkeeper Karanjit Singh and medio Rocus Lamare. The boys are improving after each match  and beginning to understand each other well. What we need is couple of wins  to bring back their confidence. Pune FC are a tough side who also will be at full strength have good foreigners and we have to play to our best," stated Bencharifa Pune FC are also going to a lean patch as they have lost three matches to see them place to 8th position.

The victory in the last match against HAL has boosted their morale and coach Derick Pereira is hopeful that his team carry the winning momentum tomorrow as they need as many wins to push themselves higher up and catch up Dempo who are at the top of the table.

Jeje Lalpekhlua who put up a good show in the SAFF Cup will pair up with Keita Mandjou which forms a potent weapon upfront and coach Derick Pereira who has a full squad at his disposal except for Balwant Singh who is down with fever will look for another win tomorrow.

Salgaocar are a good side and defending champions who have the advantage of playing at home and we need to play to our potential to collect full points.
