Amongst the Indian bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah made an 'impressive' debut in International cricket during Australia tour. Playing under the guidance of senior pro Ashish Nehra who made astonishing comeback in Australia, Bumrah can be a trump card for Team India in the mega event which is scheduled to begin from March 8.

Born on December 6, 1993 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Jasprit Singh Bumrah, a right-arm fast-medium bowler has also played in IPL 2013 for Mumbai Indians.

His 3/32 against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 4, 2013 hogged lime light and in the next edition of IPL, Mumbai Indian bought him for whopping Rs 1.2 crore.

Bumrah made his One Day International debut on 23 January 2016  against the mighty Australian side and impressed experts with some serious performances and he picked two wickets for 40 runs.

He also made dashing entry in T20 on January 26, 2016 with outstanding figures of 3-23. He is the only Indian bowler to bowl 2 maiden overs in a T20I match.

What makes him so special?

Bumrah's ability to deliver in-swing and out-swing with hiding his wrist puzzles batsman. Also, his pinpoint yorkers shock batsmen. The pacer has so many shockers in his quiver and his engineering  with pace reminds cricket lovers of former faster Mcgrath.
