Muttiah Muralitharan and Madhimalar Ramamurthy: One of the greatest spinners Muttiah Muralitharan tied knot with Madhimalar, daughter of late Dr S. Ramamurthy and Dr Nithya Ramamurthy on March 21, 2005.


Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza: Former Pakistani skipper Shoaib Malik tied knot with Indian Tennis sensation Sania Mirza in 2010.


Glenn Turner and Dame Sukhinder Kaur Gill:  Former New Zealand batsman Glenn Turner married Dame Sukhinder Kaur Gill on July 1973. She is popularly known as Sukhi Turner in New Zealand, Gill was the Mayor of Dunedin from 1995 to 2004.


Mike Brearley and Mana Sarabhai: Former England captain, known for 1981 Ashes victory, had married with Gujarati woman Mana Sarabhai. They met during England’s India tour in 1976-77.


Zaheer Abbas and Rita Luthra:
Zaheer Abbas, one of the greatest Pakistani batsmen had chosen India to make in-law's home. Rita Luthra was studying interior designing in United Kingdom and Zaheer Abbas was playing county cricket when they met and decided to get married in 1988.


Mohsin Khan and Reena Roy:
Former Pakistani cricketer played  48 Tests and 75 ODIs from 1977 to 1986. Mohsin Khan married  famous Bollywood actress Reena Roy, best known for her role in Hindi movie 'Nagin'.
