Wax artists have made statues of many world leaders and celebrities. Generally, people build stone and metal statues of popular leaders but nowadays a new vogue of making statues of wax is catching up fast. Leading the wax art trend, Madame Tussauds museums have been creating statues of world famous personalities. World leaders like Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Barack Obama have already been moulded in wax.  

Here we take a look at how the heavyweight leaders look in wax statues:    

Narendra Modi:
Wax artists of London’s Madame Tussauds museum have made the statue of Indian Prime Minster Narendra Modi which was inaugurated in New Delhi on April 20, 2016.

Barack Obama:
Barack Obama, the first African-American US President, has been depicted into a wax statue by wax artists of London’s Madame Tussauds museum.

Vladimir Putin:
Serbian museum had made a wax figure of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

David Cameron: Madame Tussauds's artists have built a wax statue of British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Xi Jinping:
Chinese President Xi Jinping has been portrayed into a wax statue by Madame Tussauds's artists.

Angela Merkel: German Chancellor Angela Merkel's wax statue, which was built by Madame Tussauds wax museum's artists, was inaugurated on September 19, 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

Nelson Mandela: Wax artists have paid tribute to Nobel Laureate and great revolutionary of South Africa Nelson Mandela by making his statue.   

Abraham Lincoln: 16th US President Abraham Lincoln, who was known for his heroic leadership during the Civil War is depicted into a wax statue.
