Indore: Incessant rains since Friday evening have crippled normal life in this commercial hub of Madhya Pradesh. Several low-lying colonies in Khajrana and Bhanwarkua areas were inundated.

Roads were flooded with rainwater as sewer system got chocked at various places. Public transportation, too, has been hit adversely.

About 110 mm (11 cms) rainfall has been recorded till 14.30 hrs today, a weather report said. Heavy showers have been predicted in Malwa region in the next two days.
