Ae Mere Vatan:
The legendary singer of our country, Lata Mangeshkar sang this song after the Indo-China war in 1962. Once, when Lata ji performed live on this song in presence of Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, it is said that the lyrics of this song made Nehru cried at that time.

Dil Diya Hai Jaan:
The famous patriotic song from the movie 'Karma' is sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Mohammed Aziz. The lyrics of the song talks about the sacrifice for the country and it salutes the spirit of patriotism.

Saare Jahan Se Accha:
This epic song is actually one of the enduring patriotic poems of the Urdu language which remained popular in India for nearly a century. It is said that Mahatma Gandhi sang it over a hundred times when he was imprisoned at Yerawada Jail in Pune in the 1930s. Later, sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar was asked to compose music for the song Saare Jahan Se Accha. The song has been evoking the feeling of being a proud Indian.

Mera Rang De Basanti Chola:
This is an evergreen patriotic song from the yesteryear blockbuster hit movie 'Shaheed' which was based on Bhagat Singh. This song was sung by Mukesh, Mahendra Kapoor and Rajendra. There is also an interesting fact about this movie that it was shot at the original location at Lahore Central Jail.

Maa Tujhe Salaam:
Composed by ace music composer AR Rahman in 1997, this is the largest selling Indian non-film album till date. Also, BBC has declared it as the song of the millennium. Sung by Rahman himself, this hit song represents a patriotic unity for India and the lyrics of this song are so powerful that they create goosebumps every time you hear this song.
