New Delhi: With major stake hold parties releasing their poll manifesto for the 2012 MCD election, independent candidates do not want to lag behind the race.

Pramila Tokas, an independent candidate from the Munirka ward has released her own manifesto comprising of the agendas to be dealt with. Tokas’s manifesto has become the latest issue of discussion in the ward.

If sources are to be believed, the local leaders of the national parties contesting the MCD elections from the Munirka ward have forwarded the manifesto to their senior party leaders.

Tokas has primarily focused on 14 agendas. It includes councilor to work along with the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) for extending help to the locals. More so, website for the ward will be created which will focus on the problems faced by the residents and development schemes for the ward.   Locals can post their complaints regarding the disposal of waste on the site.

Through website, people can ask questions from the officials of the corporation and can take an account of the money being spent for the development of the ward.
