New Delhi: A list of 26 probables has been announced for the Indian football team to participate in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) cup. The SAFF cup will be held in India next month. 

The probables will attend a national training camp after which the final squad would be announced.

Three changes have been made in the Indian squad that recently played international friendly matches against Malaysia.

In the probables defenders Raju Gaikwad and Anwar Ali were replaced with Nirmal Chhetri and Govin Singh in the probables. Midfielder Mehtab Hossain has not been able to find his place in the probables for the SAFF Championships.

The preparatory camp for the Indian football team will be held from November 25 to 29 in Goa.

The Indian team for the international friendly match against Zambia to be played in Goa on November 29 will also be picked from these 26 players.

SAFF Championship is scheduled to be held at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from December 2 to 12.

The Probables: Goalkeepers: Karanjit Singh, Subhasish Roychowdhury, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.

Defenders: Jaspal Parmar, Sameer Naik, Mahesh Gawli, Debabrata Roy, Nirmal Chhetri, Rahim Nabi, Gourmangi Singh, Govin Singh.

Midfielders:
Baldeep Singh, Rocus Lamare, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Francis Fernandes, Climax Lawrence, Anthony Pereira, Clifford Miranda, Jewel Raja, Steven Dias, Lalrindika Ralte.

Forwards: Baljit Sahni, Jeje Lalpeklua, Sushil Singh, Joaquim Abranches, Sunil Chhetri.
