New Delhi: Expressing serious discontent over the car blast incident near the Israeli embassy here on Monday, the Indian government assured Israel of complete investigation into the whole issue.

While talking to his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman hours within the blast occurred leaving an Israeli diplomat injured, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna assured him that the law of the land will take its course and stringent action will be taken against the culprits.

“We have commenced probe into the unfortunate incident and the culprits will be brought to justice at the earliest. We are in constant contact with Israel over the entire plot,” Krishna told reporters.

Meanwhile, the External Affairs Ministry and Home Ministry is keeping continuous tab on the condition of the Israeli diplomats injured in the tragic incident.

Condemning the incident, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran and its protege Hezbollah of carrying out the twin bomb attacks on Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia, however, the bomb at Georgia was detected and successfully diffused.

Notably this is not the first incident where Israeli natives have been targeted. During the ill-fateful 26/11 Mumbai attacks, seven Israelis were killed after the terror attacks on Chabad House.
