With a score of hundred-not-out, Ajinkya Rahane became the fifth Indian batsman to score two centuries in a Test match.

Let us have a look at the other four batsmen to achieve this feat:

Vijay Hazare: This legendary batsman was the first to hit a century in each innings of the Test match against Don Bradman led Australian team. He scored 116 and 145 in the two innings, respectively in 1947-48 series.

Sunil Gavaskar: He is the only Indian cricketer to score twin centuries thrice; a record which still stands unbroken. He scored these tons against West Indies and Pakistan, the highest score being 182-not-out.

Rahul Dravid:
Known as 'The Wall' of Indian cricket team, Dravid achieved this feat twice in his illustrated career. His twin centuries were against New Zealand and Pakistan in 1999 and 2005.

Virat Kohli: Captain of the Test team, Kohli was the last cricketer to achieve this feat before Rahane. Like Vijay Hazare, he also did this against Australian team in 2014 at Adelaide. He scored 115 and 141 in the two innings, respectively.
