Part of "Delhi Celebrates" series, it is presented by the Sindhi Academy, under the state department of art, culture and languages. The event is scheduled to be held at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts.

Vice President Hamid Ansari will grace the occasion as chief guest on the second day. Sindhi singers Shanti Hiranand, Dushyant Ahuja, Uma Lalla, Ghansham Vawani, Sadhna Bhatia, Kajal Chandiramani and Veena Shringi from India will be joined by Tufail Sanjrani and Taj Mastani from Pakistan informed a source.

Sindhi Academy secretary Sindhu Mishra Bhagia averred, that, "India and Pakistan share a beautiful cultural legacy of Sufi poets. The legacy of mystics like Shah Abdul Latif, and Amir Khusro are cited in our shared traditions and finds resonance on both sides of the border".

A Sufi music album will also be released on the first day.
