New Delhi: Indian pugilists returned today after excelling at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers in Astana, Kazakhstan. Seven Indian boxers booked the Olympic berth in different weight categories.

Olympic bronze medalist Vijender, teen sensations Shiva Thapa (56kg) and Sumit Sangwan (81kg), qualified for the London Olympics which will begin from July 27 2012.

Remarkably, 18-year-old Shiva Thapa created history by becoming the youngest Indian ever to qualify for Olympics.  India will return from the championship with two gold medals and three bronze medals.
