New Delhi:Just ahead of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to India, both the nations seem to be at loggerheads over the issue of Hafiz Saeed. Despite Pakistan’s persistent refusal of concrete evidences against 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind and head of militant outfit Lashkar -e –Taiba Hafiz Saeed, Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna has reiterated that Pakistan cannot exonerate Saeed off the charges.

After Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Geelani’s belated reaction in the wake of US announcement of one crore bounty over his head in which he said that it was an internal matter of his country and that there was not enough proof to nail Saeed, Pak Foreign Office Spokesperson Abdul Basit said that Pakistan cannot take any action against him in absence of any solid proof.

On the other hand Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna had clarified that the dossier submitted by India regarding 26\11 attackers to Pakistan has ample proof to nail Hafiz Saeed.

However, Indian Foreign Minister does not seem to be convinced with Pakistan’s clarification and has accused the government of not proceeding with the probe in an appropriate manner.

While speaking about the proposed meeting of Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Krishna clarified that all bilateral issues would be discussed during the meet.
