New Delhi: While India notched up the face-saving 10-run win against Pakistan in the low-scoring third and final ODI at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, former England cricketer Paul Nixon has alleged that Pakistan ‘deliberately’ threw away the game against India.

"Pakistan throwing this game away. Watch this space. Pakistan will just loose last few balls," Nixon tweeted when Pakistan lost their last six wickets for 38 runs.

The 42-year-old further tweeted, "This game is a joke especially when u see Hafeez play a lap sweep with a leg slip in place" and "It must be India's 12th Man.....the Bookmaker!"

Nixon has played 19 ODIs and one Twenty20 international match for England. He was also in England’s World Cup squad which took place in West Indies.

In June 2012, Nixon made a sensational statement that he was offered five million dollars from an Indian bookie to throw a domestic T20 match.
