"After much research we realised that today's young Indians demand a powerful phone and a camera that astounds. Keeping these preferences in mind, we have developed a one-of-a-kind smartphone," InFocus Mobiles Country Head Sachin Thapar said in a statement.

To counter its rivals, the dual sim enabled M530 has incorporated 2GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB. The phone also has a 3100 mAh battery and an octa-core processor.

The phone is a close competition to HTC Desire 826 in terms of configuration, which is available for about Rs 23,000.

The M530 also has a scratch and shock resistant 5.5 inch full-lamination display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and will be available in two colors – White and Violet.
