New Delhi: In order to boost the morale of teammates, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni may lead the team in the final match of the Celkon Mobile Cup tri-nation series in the West Indies. Dhoni was ruled out of the remaining matches of the tournament due to a hamstring injury in a match against West Indies.

Stand-in skipper Virat Kohli, who has led the team in Dhoni’s absence, has done good job so far by registering two consecutive wins after the world champions suffered back to back heartbreaks.

Kohli had earlier said that the team missed Dhoni in crucial situations. During the toss before Sri Lanka match, Kohli also mentioned that MSD could come back if the men in blue make it to the final.

What sounds positive for Indian camp is, Dhoni was seen running during warm-ups and the team is optimistic regarding his return to the playing eleven.

India stormed into the final of the tri-nation series after it defeated Sri Lanka by 81 runs in a do or die match against the islanders on Tuesday.
