Injuries caused Tomar’s death: Delhi Police

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday claimed that constable Subash Tomar died of cardiac arrest caused by several internal injuries in neck, abdomen and chest.

Addressing media, a Delhi Police officer read the post mortem report of the slain cop.

According to police officers, after Subash Tomar fell on the street, he was kicked and beaten up. Tomar’s colleagues found him unconscious. They rushed him to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

Earlier, the doctors of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital said that the cop died of a major heart attack and no major injuries were found on his body.
