The exhibition titled ‘open house’, which will be organized within the institute, will provide an insight into the research work, student projects and the advanced facilities available at the institute. The event is a platform to exhibit path-breaking technical projects.

Some of the projects include waterless urinal technology, a wood cane crusher and a solar powered refrigeration system.

The waterless urinal technology is called the ‘Zerodar’, where urinals have been turned into a waterless facility which also produces phosphate - a mineral used in agricultural activities.

It is among the 200-odd innovative projects developed by faculty members and students of the institute.

The exhibition ‘open house’ is being organized with the aim of having a high social impact. The event will also have educative sessions while the projects will be evaluated and awarded.
