New Delhi: Intel is famous for its processors all across the globe. Intel processors are lynchpin of central processing units of desktops, laptops. Increasing its wide presence in India, company has launched its first smartphone in India. Company was trying for association with HTC and Samsung for a long time. Finally, Intel has launched its smartphone in association with Indian manufacturer Lava.

X900 is first Intel smartphone to have worldwide presence. It is priced at Rs 21,999. With its fine aesthetics, XOLO X900 looks polished and feels nice in hand.

Main specifications of the smartphone include 4.03-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution (295 PPI), 8 megapixel rear camera with flash, 10fps burst mode and 1080p video recording, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage space, HSPA+ connectivity up to 21Mbps, HDMI out and NFC built-in. Unfortunately, the phone will be sold with Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch, although an Android 4.0 update is already in works.

Overall, it is considered to be good value for money device. It is almost at par with the aesthetics of apple iphone 4S and its technical capabilities promise a handy experience for consumers in India.
