New Delhi: Sensing innovative ways of terror elements to carry out their nefarious plans, Intelligence agencies are taking resort to electronic surveillance in order to nail down Indian Mujahideen (IM) fugitive militant Ahmed Yasin Khan alias Shahrukh.

With the help of phones and sim cards recovered from arrested Pakistani militants, the investigative agencies are trying to how Shahrukh frequently changes his numbers and details about his calls.

Notably, Shahrukh was planning to carry out a major attack in Delhi. In various raids in Bihar, Delhi and Chennai, Delhi police special cell has arrested IM militants - Pakistani citizen Mohammed Adil alias Ajmal (40), Ktil Siddiqui (27), Gohar Aziz Khumani (31), Ghayur Ahmed Jamali (21), Irshad Khan (52), Farooq and an engineering student Abdul Rahman (19).

These arrests unveiled that the mastermind behind the cases of shoot-out at foreigners outside Jama Masjid in Delhi before Commonwealth games, planting bomb in car, German Bakery blast in Pune and bomb blast outside Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore was Shahrukh.

After IM chief Riyaz Bhatkal went to Pakistan, Shahrukh took charge of IM in India. He is responsible for raising countrywide new IM models. As per investigating officials, Shahrukh is hiding in the country.
