Shimla: The intense cold wave sweeping large parts of Himachal continued on Saturday as mercury dropped even further in the region.
    
The temperature plummeted to minus 3.6 degree in Keylong and minus 2 degree in tribal districts of Lahaul, Spiti and Kalpa.
    
Bhuntar, Solan and Sundernagar reeled under piercing cold wave conditions with minimum temperature dipping to three degrees below normal at 3.8 degrees, 4 degrees and 4.1 degree respectively.
    
The state capital Shimla recorded a low of 4.1 degree and maximum temperature at 13.9 Degree, four degree below normal, while Manali shivered under biting cold wave conditions with minimum temperature hovering around freezing point.
    
Nahan recorded a low of 8.2 degree, four degrees below normal while Una was hottest in the region with a high of 25.2 degree.
    
Solan recorded a high of 22.5 degrees, followed by Sundernagar and Dharamshala at 21.8 degrees, Bhunter 21 degrees, Nahan 20.3 degrees and Kalpa 9.9 degrees.
    
A fresh bout of Western Disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from November 28 onwards, local MeT office said.
