According to Intex, the VR cardboard is a Google certified VR viewer. Priced at Rs 8,999, the smartphone will be available via offline retailers in the country. The smartphone is constituted with inbuilt cardboard app and the eyelet is based on the second version of the Google cardboard and will work with any smartphone which supports gyroscope and accelerometer sensors.

Intex adds that the Eyelet cardboard can support smartphones with a screen size up to 6-inches. The smartphone also sports a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

  • The dual-SIM Intex Aqua View runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi
  • The new Intex smartphone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM
  • Sporting an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the Aqua View also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera
  • It bears 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB)
