Vikasnagar: Natives of a few districts of Garhwal and Himachal regions would no longer face the shortage of LPG provided IOC official agree to set up a gas bottling plant in Himachal Pradesh.

IOC’s LPG Operation Marketing Division team on Sunday visited several places like Dakpattha, Chharb and Shishambara in search of one such place. It is likely that IOC’s team of technical experts would also pay a visit in this regard. This bottling plant is likely to come up in coming three-year.

The visiting team comprising RK Verma, Chief Manager of IOC’s marketing division, company’s Regional Manager VK Sundariyal, Congress MLA Nav Prabhat including SDM Ashok Pandey. It is said that the motive behind officials visit was aimed at assessing the security concerns, transportation and other facilities in the area.

Tritium gas capsules would be supplied to the plant from Panipat which would make the gas supply feasible in entire Garhwal region and districts of Himachal Pradesh.
