Raman has a distinguished domestic and international track record and has coached Tamil Nadu and Bengal with a great deal of success at national-level competitions, KKR said in a release.
Commenting on the announcement, KKR CEO Venky Mysore said, "We are delighted to have Raman join our coaching staff. He becomes part of a strong core group of Trevor Bayliss, Wasim Akram and Vijay Dahiya.
"His experience with the Bengal team and at the Eden Gardens will be really useful going into the new season," he said.
