New Delhi: Demanding an immediate apology from the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team director Sidhartha Mallya, the victim in the molestation case served a legal notice to him for his alleged tweets on her questioning her character.

Rajneesh Chopra, the victim's lawyer, said, "We have sent a legal notice to Sidhartha Mallya on the derogatory remarks he made on Twitter."

Meanwhile, a team of Delhi Police officials is at the ITC Maurya hotel, where the incident took place, to collect certain documents in connection with the case. They have reportedly collected CCTV footage from the hotel.

A separate team of the Delhi Police reached Primus Hospital earlier to record the statement of the victim's fiance.

Molestation victim approaches Delhi Commission for Women

After sending a legal notice to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) director Sidhartha Mallya for his tweet questioning her character, an American woman who was allegedly molested by the IPl team's Australian recruit luke Pomersbach has now filed a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) against the Mallya scion.

"We have received a complaint from Zohail Hameed, and will send him (Mallya) a notice on the tweet," Barkha Singh, Chairperson, DCW, said on Saturday.
