New Delhi: A Delhi court will hear bail plea of suspended Rajasthan Royals pacer S Sreesanth and alleged bookie Jiju Janardhan on Friday.

Sreesanth’s lawyer had moved a fresh bail plea on Thursday after the Delhi Police invoked MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act) against the cricketer.

The Delhi Police had on June 4 informed to the court that they had invoked MCOCA against Sreesanth and 22 others in the case as the ‘command’ for spot-fixing originated from underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's outfit.

Earlier, Sreesanth’s bail plea was rejected and his judicial custody was extended till June 18.

Another suspended Rajasthan Royal’s player Ankit Chavan has also moved a fresh bail application before a sessions court and it will also come up for hearing on Friday along with the bail pleas of Sreesanth and 15 others.
