Gwalior: Three days after an IPS officer Narendra Kumar Singh was allegedly killed by mining mafias in Madhya Pradesh, Banmore police station in-charge Chandra Bhan Singh Raghuvanshi was attached to police lines.

It was also revealed that Manoj Gurjar, who has been remanded in police custody till Sunday, was not driving the tractor-trolley that crushed the 2009-batch IPS officer. Two accused are still absconding in the case.

The family members stated that he was carrying stones for the purpose of constructing his home and the vehicle lost its balance and the stone-laded trolley tilted. Manoj’s family members have also claimed that they didn’t have any enmity with him.

However, the police claimed that Manoj is a member of a mining mafia and as the investigation into the case is completed the administration would take appropriate actions.

Narendra was crushed under the wheels of a tractor-trolley driven by a member of mining mafia at Banmore in Morena district on Thursday when he tried to stop the vehicle carrying stones. He was criminated at his native village near Mathura on Friday.
