The Galaxy Grand Prime reportedly has a 5MP front-facing camera fit for clicking a great self-portrait. It has a five inch, high definition quality (540 x 960 pixels) display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM, Vietnamese website reported.

The 'selfie' phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is said to be equipped with an 8MP main camera which can record video in 1080p.It also has 8 GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot and a 2600 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is a dual SIM device that offers 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Some of the competition includes the Sony Xperia C3 and the Nokia Lumia 730, two so-called "selfie" phones.

The Galaxy Grand Prime has already gone live on a Vietnamese retailer’s website; it’s also listed on Samsung’s mobile website under the model number SM-G530H, so it’s possible we will see an official announcement very soon.

Its upgraded 5MP front-facing camera should prove more than capable for the selfie-crazed individuals. The expected date for the Galaxy Grand Prime’s arrival is on October so it’s not that long of a wait until we see this phablet come to life. According to a website, it will be priced at approximately USD 236 (Rs.14,000).
