Apparently, the well known and talented  faces of B-town  including Bollywood heartthrob actor Ranbir Kapoor, legendary directors Ayan Mukherji, Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl were spotted at Karan's tea party.

Indeed, it was a boys night out at Karan Johar's residence. Although the reason behind the B-town male-friends get together is yet not revealed.  

According to reports, Karan invited his friends to celebrate the completion of Anurag Kashyap's upcoming next film ' Bombay Velvet' which will mark his debut as an actor in Bollywood.

Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Karan Johar are working together in director Anurag Kashyap's much awaited upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet'. The movie is an upcoming drama purely based on Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables. The film portrays the picture of Bombay in 1960's and the storyline revolves around a boxer.

Ranbir will be seen playing the character of a boxer, Johnny Balraj opposite to an aspiring jazz singer , Rosie played by Anushka Sharma. Meanwhile Karan Johar will be seen playing the role of antagonist.

The film is slated to release on May 15,2015.
