On the occasion, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the Lok Sabha and the Raya Sabha are epitomes of democracy and discussion should be valued rather than creating ruckus in the Houses as meaningful debates hold significance in democracy.

Lauding democratic system in the country, he said, “We are proud of being a citizen of world's biggest democracy which respects all the ideologies.”

Talking about the electioneering in the country, he said, constitutional provisions must be made to hold elections in the entire country in five years.

Speaking at Jagran Forum about the Madhya Pradesh's development, he said the government has always kept a low profile even after doing excellent work. He talked about various policies like Ladli Lakhmi policy to eradicate gender discrimination against girl child in the state. He also discussed about Smart Cities ideas, agricultural reforms and educational reforms for the state.
