The new Jaguar XF will carry styling cues, which is inspired by the earlier model XE and it has a lightweight aluminum chassis that is bound to make it more efficient and dynamically better than the outgoing model.

The upcoming model also features sharper styling cues and a coupe like silhouette, just like the smaller XE.
The Jaguar XF will be underpinned by the new aluminum-intense iQ[Al] platform on which the smaller XE is based on. This new chassis will help keep the weight down despite the size of the car going up to generate additional space at the rear and the boot.

Jaguar India is expected to launch the new XF in India within a year from its global launch. When launched, it will compete against the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class and the Audi A6.
