“One of the main reasons for the political instability in Jharkhand during the last 13 years is the lesser number of seats. I will meet the Home Minister tomorrow to request to increase the House strength between 125 and 130 seats," Ramesh said on Wednesday.

The Jharkhand Assembly now has 81 seats.

Ramesh, who has been appointed as chairman of the ruling coalition's Coordination Committee, recently sent a letter to Shinde in this regard.
