New Delhi: One more person was today arrested in connection with the alleged attempt to seek call detail records of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, police said.

Neeraj was taken into custody for interrogation after police concluded that he has asked Arvind Dabbas, a policeman posted at Parliament Street Police station, to get details of Jaitley's phone records. Dabbas was arrested last week for allegedly using his senior's computer to send a request to a mobile service provider seeking information on call records of the BJP leader.

Police also said Dabbas was found trying to use the official email ID of an ACP to send a request to a mobile service provider for the call detail records of Jaitley.

Though Jaitley has not filed any complaint, police launched a probe to ascertain whether any official had sought details about his call records or if it was a case of impersonation.

Reports had it that the nodal officer of a telecom service provider had called the police to inform that they had received a request from the police seeking call detail records of Jaitley.
