Jamshedpur: The Celluloid Chapter which is a cultural and civic organisation of Jharkhand, will be hosting ‘International Film Week’ in the steel city starting from February 22 in an effort to promote thousands of art lovers to appreciate cinema and allied arts.

Approximately 14 internationally awarded films, including Norwegian films, will be screened in the seven-day long cinematic event.

The Celluloid Chapter is organising this event from past 27 years in the city.

This is for the first time Norwegian films will be screened. The event will begin with the screening of Norway oriented - An Enemy of the People the director Erik Skjoldbjaerg, on Wednesday at 4:30 pm. On the same day, another Norway oriented film - The Troublesome Man, will be screened at 6:15 pm.

The event will conclude on February 29 with the screening of Bangladeshi film Guerrilla, based on the events of the Bangladesh Liberation War.
