Patna: The schedule for Bharatiya Janata Party veteran Lal Krishna Advani’s Jan Chetna Yatra against corruption and inflation has been revised. Now the Yatra will be flagged off by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar from Chapra.

Earlier it had to kick off from Sitabdiara, the birth place of social reformer Jaiprakash Narayan.

National Democratic Alliance’s state convener and Road Construction Minister Nand Kishor Yadav told reporters the condition of road in Sitabdiara is bad due to rain and water logging. Therefore, the schedule for the Yatra has been changed.

No change has been made in programme at Sitabdiara where CM will address the meeting. Later he will go to Chapara to flag off the Yatra. BJP leader Arun Jaitely and Shusma Swaraj are likely to attend the programme.
